Our main area of activity in producing wood chips is P\u00e4rnu, Harju and L\u00e4\u00e4ne County. In order to collect the raw material necessary to produce wood chips, we cooperate with various forestry and agricultural companies as well as sawmills and private land owners.<\/p>\n
Felling forest material necessary to produce wood chips is done with the use of Volvo and Komatsu excavators equipped with brush guillotines. The guillotines are made in cooperation between Grenor Trade O\u00dc and M\u00f5isak\u00fcla Masinatehas O\u00dc, ensuring the quality of the guillotines as well as of the work done with them. Guillotine cutting ensures a cut very close to the ground.<\/p>\n
We collect the forest material with the use of Ponsse and Timberjack forwarders.
\nWood is chipped using Jenz wood chippers.
\nWe have trailers with moving floors and trucks equipped with multilift boxes to transport wood chips.<\/p>\n
We employ the use of an interim storage facility to ensure continued supply. We deliver wood chips to Fortum Eesti AS and Skano Fibreboard O\u00dc as well as to the private sector and small boiler plants.<\/p>\n
